Visiting New York City

My Better Half (MBH) and I spent last weekend in New York City, which was my first visit to the big Apple (unless you count transfers at JFK and La Guardia or the trip to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty).

We spent several hours walking Manhattan, looking at the architecture, and visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rockefeller Center (and "The Top of the Rock" as they label the observation deck tour), and Central Park. Click here for pictures of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, here for pictures of the Rockefeller Center, and here for pictures of Top of the Rock.

Fun!

It's such an impressive place! I went there for the first time and you can spend hours just walking around. forget even doing things.

Hi GMWC! Glad to hear you've been able to take a break from home repairs and get in a bit of spring travel. The past year has been quite a busy one for you it seems. Hope you're settling in well in Philadelphia and are still glad that you made the move from the south.
